History of Wethepeople Bikes

Founded in Cologne, Germany in 1996, WeThePeople emerged from a rethink of mainstream BMX design. Klaus Dyba and Harry Schmidt envisioned straightforward BMX bikes prioritising performance over flashy aesthetics.

Employing a minimalist approach, WeThePeople bikes utilise robust steel frames and clean lines, eschewing gimmicks in favour of functionality and durability. Their focus on collaboration with professional cyclists has resulted in bikes designed for aggressive riding and technical mastery, appealing to experienced riders seeking high performance in urban and BMX environments.

Wethepoeple Riot 14”

Wethepeople Seed 16”

Wethepeople - CRS 18”

The WeThePeople CRS 18 isn't just a kid's bike; it's a scaled-down progression machine, built to ignite the spark of BMX passion in young riders. Wethepeople CRS 18 Freestyle

• Age range: 11 +
• Wheel size: 18”
• Inner leg range: 55 - 90cm

Introducing a fully gyro-equipped iteration of the immensely popular CRS 18” model. A gyro, also known as a rotor or detangler, is a component on some BMX bikes that allows the handlebars to rotate 360 degrees without twisting the brake cables. This makes the CRS 18 freestyle especially useful for freestyle BMX riders who perform tricks that involve spinning the handlebars, such as bar spins and tailwhips.

Tight corners are conquered with ease thanks to the short chainstays, while grippy tyres and a powerful U-brake keep things under control. 

Wethepeople Thrillseeker Series

The thrillseeker model was originally designed in the year 2000 and helped Wethepeople make a name for themselves. They’ve retained the concept of a streamlined no-nonsense BMX bike for their new line of Thrillseeker models. 

The series encompasses four sizes (S, M, L, XL) to cater to a range of rider heights and preferences. 

The durable components withstand the demands of aggressive riding. While catering to performance, the Thrillseeker series celebrates the pure joy of BMX, offering riders a platform to hone their skills in urban environments. 

Wethepeople Thrillseeker S

• Age range: 8 - 12
• Wheel size: 20”
• Inner leg range: 75 - 82cm 

The Thrillseeker S weighs just 11kg and comes in black or seamfoam green. 

Wethepeople Thrillseeker M

• Age range: 12+ 
• Wheel size: 20”
• Inner leg range: 79 - 90cm

Also available in black or seamfoam green, the Thrillseeker M is the next size up. 

Wethepeople Thrillseeker L

• Age range: 12+
• Wheel size: 20”
• Inner leg range: 82 - 93cm  

The Thrillseeker L weighs 11.5kg and comes in red or black. 

Wethepeople Thrillseeker XL

• Age range: 12+
• Wheel size: 20”
• Inner leg range: 86 - 100 cm  

Finally, the largest size is the Thrillseeker XL with a 21 inch top tube, which comes in red or black.
